A tide pool is water left in rock and sand crevices from the outgoing ocean tide.  The tide pool observations reflected in the following work were from southern CA, the northeast, the Caribbean islands and the Isle of Capri in Ita ly. The works are memories and impressions rather than realistic transpositions.  The paintings followed many years of studying tide pools.
