RENT OUR SPACE FOR YOUR
NEXT CORPORATE OR PRIVATE EVENT

The gallery is available for receptions after 5pm Wednesday through Sunday and any time Monday and Tuesday. The gallery is not available for evening rental the second Friday.

FEES:

Morning Meeting Rental

Up to 3 hours $450 (setup to cleanup).*

Gallery must be cleaned and ready for business by 11:00 am.*
Wednesday – Friday and by noon on Saturday and Sunday.*

Evening Reception Rental
Friday – Sunday $950 up to 5 hours (setup to cleanup)*
Monday – Thursday $800 up to 5 hours (setup to cleanup), $1600 for up to 10 hours (setup to cleanup)*

Each additional half an hour of rental fee is $95.00. Each additional hour is $190.00*

*An extra $35.00 per hour will be charged for the gallery’s representative work during the event.


Policy for Receptions

  1. 1. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due upon signing the rental agreement. The balance is due three business days before your event. Failure to provide payment at appointed times will void the contract.  All prior payments will be considered non-refundable.  Should severe weather or uncontrolled events such as a power failure or riots necessitate cancellation; an alternate date will be furnished for the same time at no additional expense.


    1. 2. The Gallery will not remove, rearrange or obscure any significant element(s) of an exhibition to accommodate events. At no time will artwork or furniture be moved without prior permission. All installations or shows are to remain intact. There can be absolutely nothing hung, nailed, or taped to the walls without the permission of the director.

    2. 3. The director must approve of all publicity concerning the gallery.

    3. 4. The gallery will furnish a clean space with artwork that fills the majority of the gallery walls. The gallery will provide 2 seating benches in the main room. There will also be a clean and functional bathroom at your disposal.

    4. 5. The renter or designated representative must be on site throughout the event.

    5. 6. The gallery will provide a staff member (for an additional fee - see above) to assist with questions during setup and reception.

    6. 7. In the event of damage to any artwork or to the physical condition of any and all public places within Touchstone Gallery or the 406 building itself caused by renter or guests, the renter will be held solely responsible and will be billed accordingly. This includes, but is not limited to scratches, nicks, breaks, or marks of any kind.

    7. 8. Damage Deposit: The damage deposit is $500 and must be paid prior to the start of the event in addition to the rental fee. This deposit is completely refundable within 48 hours of the event if no damage has occurred, nothing is missing and no abnormal or excessive cleaning of gallery space is required.  Damage to art work in the gallery during set-up, the event or cleanup is the full responsibility of your organization at 100% of the sale price. If damage exceeds the amount of the deposit, renter agrees to pay the additional amount.

    8. 9. Beer kegs are not permitted.  Dark colored beverages are also not permitted, such as red wine or dark sodas.

    9. 10. Smoking is not allowed in the gallery.

    10. 11. Loud music is not permitted at the gallery. Instruments using electrical amplifiers must keep amplitude down. Management and staff may require musicians to lower volume or shut down if not able to comply.

    11. 12. In the case of weddings, no rice may be thrown. Only birdseed or flower petals may be thrown outside.

      13.
      Permission for dancing will depend upon the exhibition and must be approved prior to the event.

      14. The gallery does not provide parking.  Several garages are nearby.  Metered parking is available in the neighborhood.

    12. 15. The gallery is not ADA/508 compliant.

    13. 16. All food, beverage and equipment for the reception will be subcontracted by your organization.   Please refer to our list of preferred vendors.  These businesses are familiar with our facility and will contribute to a worry free event.   If renter is providing their own caterer, they must provide a certificate of insurance which includes the name and phone number of the insurance company.  Renter will also provide the gallery with a certificate of insurance proving liability coverage of at least one million dollars in insurance.

    14. 17. All food waste must be removed from the building.
    15. 18. At the end of the evening, your organization will be responsible for cleaning and returning the gallery back to its original condition.
    16. 19. Renter is responsible for removing all articles brought in during the rental event. Touchstone Gallery cannot assume responsibility for items left by guests or the renter.
