This is our summer show, when the world is GREEN - so we just bounced off all the ideas that greenness suggests - money, grapes, eco-consciousness, trees, water, mint juleps, little green apples, Christmas trees, etc. etc. etc.
Touchstone artists were asked to interpret this theme freely and broadly. GREEN was to be approached literally or conceptually, and our artists’ responses encompass green as a color, as a movement, as a state of being, as a symbol of life.
We want our patrons as well as our artists to experience the wonder of green in all its shades, implications, denotations, and evocations; its seriousness and silliness; its depths and its shallowness. So this September, come on in and be GREEN with us
