The District 51 Art Show is a celebration of the visual arts excellence rooted in the District of Columbia, featuring 51 living and working artists who shape, inspire, and impact the dynamic cultural scene. More than half of the selected artists are current District residents; others were born or raised in tDC, went to school at one of the many DC-based universities, or have studios or a workplace in Washington, DC.

In the nearly 100 pieces of art, created by artists ranging from 23 to 91 years old, the show speaks to the vitality and complexity of the District—championing individuality yet creating a collective narrative that resonates with themes of community, identity, and place.
