This exhibition seeks to honor the vibrant creative landscape of Washington, D.C. The District 51 Art Show will highlight some of the incredible living and working artists who have shaped, inspired, and impacted the dynamic cultural scene, both past and present.

Artists currently or previously connected to the DC arts scene are encouraged to apply with a limited portfolio of artworks (at least three, but no more than five pieces). Applications will be evaluated by a panel of three jurors.

Artists should submit a portfolio that includes at least 3 but no more than 5 artwork samples. Artworks submitted should be available for the installation, exhibition, and deinstallaion period (January 2 - February 16, 2025). Applications must also include an artist statement as well as a statement about their connection to the District of Columbia.
