Echoes of Tomorrow
Prospectus: Echoes of Tomorrow explores the connections between the memory and anticipation of artistic expression; it explores how we can see the future within our present art, blending foresight with nostalgia.
Artists ages 14-22 (or any high school or undergraduate student) may submit up to two works with a $5 application fee (artists may contact the gallery for a fee waiver if this presents a financial burden). All original, visual mediums are accepted, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, installations, video, and more. This exhibition will include a physical gallery show located in Washington, DC. Artists will be notified on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 if their works were selected.
All physical works must arrive to the gallery ready to hang. Artists are responsible for the delivery and retrieval of their work. Works must be dropped off during gallery business hours (Wednesday-Sunday 12-5). All artwork must fit through a standard doorway. The largest dimension must be no bigger than 36”. Suspended works cannot weigh over 10 lbs. Touchstone Gallery may use images of accepted works for media and publicity purposes
